“ Painted en plein air, this expressive work captures the untamed spirit of Georgia Elliott’s practice. Working directly in the landscape with materials and tools gathered to hand, Georgia channels the shifting colours, sensations, and forms around her, distilling them into a visceral abstraction that evokes the essence of place rather than its likeness. We are captivated by the energy in her mark-making, the generous texture of her surfaces, and the intuitive rhythm that runs through every gesture. ”
